Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg shrimp (prawns)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 can soda such as sprite, lemon soda
  • 1 bulb garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • pinch salt
  • pinch pepper

Instructions
 

  • Melt 1/4 cup butter in a large skillet over low-medium heat
  • Add garlic to the skillet, and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1 minute add the shrimp, salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until pink, about 2-3 minutes; set aside
  • Add lemon juice. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half, about 1-2 minutes
  • Serve immediately, garnished with parsley leaves, if desired
